Hawzah News Agency- Qom’s Basij Force Media Department is going to hold a contest called ‘Media and International Quds Day’ to voice solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza and support the Palestinian cause.

The categories of this contest include:

Role of media in supporting the Palestinian cause and the oppressed people of Gaza

Al-Ahrar Storm after Al-Aqsa Storm

Palestinian Intifada and support for the oppressed people of Gaza

Huge turnout of people on International Quds Day

The participants are able to send two works in each category; the works must have been published in one of the media outlets certified by Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

The media staff in Qom Province could send in their works through @resaneqom in social networks to participate in the event.

It should be noted that Quds Day officially known as International Quds Day is an annual pro-Palestinian event held on the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan to express support for Palestinians and oppose Israel and Zionism. It takes its name from the Arabic-language name for Jerusalem: al-Quds. The event was first held in 1979 in Iran, shortly after the Iranian Revolution.
